Linus Blanket from Humble Quilts

The last time hubby asked me to repair his winter “blanket” it was easier for me to cut it down and rebind. I figured eventually I’d trim it so much it would end up be a small square! Haha
He’s been asking me again to repair some shredded areas.

I can't keep cutting it so I patched it!

I only patched the worst areas. He is a happy camper!

Last Post of 2023 from The Cozy Quilter

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and some time to relax this past week once the festivities were over.  I have managed to do a bit of knitting this week as well as some un-sewing (more on that later in this post!).  During the month of December, I worked on knitting a new hat for my husband whenever he was out or otherwise occupied.  Despite my best efforts, I did not get it done in time and he ended up unwrapping an unfinished gift.  He was surprised and pleased with my gift to him, which makes it all worthwhile ...

And then I was up early this morning and have already got a ...

Fun on a Friday! from Humble Quilts

I received a lovely package when I returned from my backpacking trip.

Suzette is a generous woman who, now that covid is cooling, I'd like to see again!

This is gorgeous!

Chocolate brown and pink? Yes please!

She sent these fun little orphan blocks.

The log cabins are hand sewn to foundation fabric. This little twirly print is awesome! I love to take these with me to my string class to let people know anything goes!

I had my big 6-0 birthday last week and although Suzette didn't know I felt like it was meant to arrive when ...

Are you superstitious? from Crazy Quilter on a Bike!

I am not a superstitious person per se. However, I think about all those things that you are not supposed to do, like walking under ladders, what to do if a black cat crosses your path, and everything to do with the number 13! I don't avoid that kind of stuff, but it crosses my mind. More on that in a minute.

I had a very bizarre presentation yesterday. It was on Zoom, all the participants were in the store, and they never opened the camera link, so I had ZERO connection with any of them, including the store ...
